![]() Not even by eating ghosts, which are the only enemy in this demo.I'm also generally hoping the levels get more interesting in their designs, not just the visuals. And I hope Palace does better than to delve into its pitfalls. Particularly, there should still be a Pac-Man feel. Collecting dots here already doesn't amount to anything, but it seems like you don't even get points. That said, while this game does a great job imitating PMW2 mechanics, PMW2 also has its missteps. The animations are nice and cartoonish, probly even moreso than in any game of the actual trilogy. The visuals and set pieces in this level are lovely. ![]() The attention to detail is quite admirable, as you guys manage to not only include all the moves from Pac-Man World 2, but also make it feel pretty close to how PMW2 did on PC, right down to the fluid HUD design and having the more trivial moves like the flip kick. This is super impressive, and way more than I would ever thought of seeing when thinking of what a Pac-Man World fan project could look like. I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeves!Įdit: Also, I'm curious, will you guys will implement mazes through Galaxian pick ups like the other World games? I'd think it'd be great to keep the mazes that Pac is known for. Also, on the HUD, it should display the amount of a collectable in each world instead of making you check an inventory system.īesides my nitpicks, this game lived up to my expectations and I enjoyed it greatly. I'd also probably tweak Pac's movement speed on the ground to be a bit faster. ![]() It just felt kind of useless to use aswell because the level design didn't have helivators or any slopes to get up. I didn't use it as much besides for smashing boxes because it just didn't feel as nice to use. ![]() The control for Pac-Man is great, but his butt bounce here feels a fair bit delayed. My only real complaints are about the control and the inventory system. Thank you to the devs for making this, it captured the spirit of the first two Pac-Man World games amazingly. I was geniunely impressed when I played this and it had a big ass smirk on my face.
